Producer, director, actor Morgan Murphy received his M.F.A. degree from the University of Connecticut. He also holds a B.A. degree from Whitman College (WA); and Training Certificates from National Shakespeare Conservatory (NY) and Neighborhood Playhouse/Meisner Carville School of Acting (NYC/BWI).

Murphy has produced, directed, performed and instructed on both coasts. He served as Executive Producer for several short films including: A Summer's Tale; Patterns; Panopticon; and Gaining Miles, which went on to win the Grand Jury Prize for Best Short at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival in New York City, Best Narrative at the MiniDV Festival in Hollywood, CA and was recognized by the International DV Awards with the Outstanding Achievement in Digital Video Production award. He produced and directed two music videos (Driven and Beg 2 Differ) for the Gold Record band Sevendust (7Bros Records/Asylum). Both videos premiered on MTV2.
Murphy also directed Bebe Neuwirth and Matthew Modine in a reading of Charles Evered's play Adopt a Sailor at the Manhattan Theatre Club.

In New Hampshire, Murphy directed Fiddler on the Roof and The Wizard of Oz at the Palace Theater of Manchester. He has held teaching positions and professorships in the arts at University of Connecticut, Whitman College, Plymouth State University, Walla Walla Community College and New Hampton School, where he also served as chair of the Arts Department and Director of Performing Arts. He was founding Artistic Director of Performance PLUS, a New England performing arts summer conservatory focusing on film, theater, music, dance and technical production that served professional artists and students in the creation of original work from 9 countries and 22 states. Murphy recently received the Young Alumni Award from Whitman College where he was also a President Scholar. Murphy holds training certificates from the Film Finance Workshop and the New York International Film and TV Finance Summit. He currently serves on the board of trustees of the Global Character Institute, the Executive Committee of the New Hampshire Theatre Awards, and the New Hampshire Film Commission.

In addition to Producing and Assistant Directing, Murphy also plays the role of Bryan Taney in WFP's current film project, TIME AND CHARGE$.
