Murphy recently received the Young Alumni Award from Whitman College where he was also a President Scholar. Murphy holds training certificates from the
Film Finance Workshop and the New York International Film and TV Finance Summit. He currently serves on the board of trustees of the Global Character Institute,
the Executive Committee of the New Hampshire Theatre Awards, and the New Hampshire Film Commission.
